I shouldn't like youYour steps enslave me,
Your beauty hurts my eyes,
Your smile burns my heart,
Your eyes murder me,
Your voice punishes me,
Your dance bleeds me,
I shouldn't like you, but I do.
Update on the Interview MagazineHello Everybody !
I am back with an update on the Interview Magazine. I am very optimistic about it and I have a feeling that it will be a SUCCESS.
So let's talk about the magazine.
First of all I have still not decided on a name for the magazine as I am thinking in having it translated in more languages so I need a name that could work in any language. If you have ideas shot them my way !
Content of the magazine
There will be around 30 pages , more or less (around 10 interviews in it). I will try to make each interview as unique as possible (big range of questions). There will be one art theme to draw after, same theme for everybody that wants to draw. This month it might be "Abstract Tree" , "Abstract Brain" or "Waterfall of Knowledge". Still thinking which one should it be, I want to show the readers the different styles and imaginatio
HIM concert (photos) and other stuffHello, everyone!
So, I went to a HIM concert on Sunday, october 13 with my friend KatyHerself! I just wanted to tell you how super awesome it was and share some photos I took It was really amazing!! Hope they come to Vienna again soon!!
Their truck was robbed, like yesterday, did you hear about that? They were still in Austria and on their way to Italy someone broke into their truck and took some stuff :/
I only took photos on my phone so excuse the bad quality.
Also, I'm sorry for all the notes that go unreplied and I'm sorry for not thanking everyone for the watches and faves. School's pretty exhausting and I don't even have time to draw.
Yes, I had a pretty good view! (:
I don't keep up with notes on dA very well. If you need to contact me to ask for clarification, please do so at my website.
* These brushes can be used for prints. You don't need to note me and ask.

Vomit and SinewI stopped knowing you when I found him.
You faded so far into the background I’ve nearly forgotten your face,
and now I wonder what you ever really meant to me.
You were once all that mattered.
All that gave me solace in a world of darkness I never understood back then..
And I was so certain of you.
So painfully certain you were the melody my soul was dying to play.
That song with its tender nuances, and delicate notes of pain.
Though your pain is so close to elegance I find it startlingly beautiful.
Like a swan slowly bleeding to death.
Where right from the beginning, he reminded me of a wolf.
Baring its teeth as its body decomposes.
Rotting while still alive.
Snarling with rage and hopelessness that has haunted me ever since..
While my memories of you manifest as something only quietly sad.
Distant and forgettable.
He prods at corners so dark I never knew they existed.
He drags demons and skeletons out of closets just to make love to them.
He entwines himself with images
Devious Journal EntryMy local TV station did a short video dealing with my lifelong bouts of depression and agoraphobia and how I use my art as therapy. Look up Christopher Pollari on Utube or click on this link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkCrHbL4WtI
IdolizationIdolization is a strange and dangerous thing.
Yet we all do it. Either aware or unaware.
It all starts when we see an artist here whose work we like a lot.
Most of us have been there. Seeing the work of an artists that hits a soft spot in you, for whatever reason that might be.
You admire it, but at the same time you feel sad because you realize your level is still miles away from this artist, and you will probably never be able to do the same.
But despite everything, you start following this person. And you keep following him.
Because somewhere deep in your soul, you hold the believe --or rather, hope-- that when you watch it long enough, it will reveal it's tricks.
That it will inspire you in some way. And that you'll be able to do the same.
Unconsciously, we all build images of our idol.
It's human nature, I guess. We fill in all the blanks. The things that we don't know from this person.
Because an idol isn't a person anymore at that point. It has become an ico
The United Stasi of AmerikaThe United Stasi of Amerika
‘Over the top doesn’t begin to describe where the US Police State has gone. From daily beatings, killings and arbitrary incarcerations to beyond Orwellian surveillance and armored military patrolling their streets, Americans have transitioned into a full blown Stasi controlled State.
Just google “police state america” and you’ll see there are over 620 MILLION results. This is clearly no secret, yet the hordes trundle on like nothing’s happening.
Who were the Stasi and why is this label appropriate?’

Make 2015 awesome!A new year started. So some words of inspiration for those that want to pursue art this year...
Don't worry about your age. Do not get discouraged by those that are younger than you and better. Some people start art when they are 6 years old and are prodigy's at age 16, others make a rather late or slow start. It doesn't matter if you're 10 or 80 years old. You're never too old to learn something new, and you're never too old to do something you enjoy.
Everybody has potential. Even the greatest masters in art started out as beginners. It just takes a lot of time and persistence.
Don't be afraid to fail. Most masters have failed more times than any beginner even tried.
We only see the best from other people, and compare it with our own average. For every amazing painting a good artist puts online, he probably made 100 failed sketches. Sketches you'll never see and you'll never know o
